Transparency

We follow one rule: do not create data the product does not need. We can only hand over what we have.

What we have

• Device IDs and public keys.
• Push tokens, encrypted.
• Messages waiting in a mailbox, encrypted end to end: we cannot read them, and they disappear after 7 days at the latest.

What we do not have

Conversations, contacts, address books, call history, names, phone numbers, emails (unless you write to us), or histories of IP addresses.

Requests from authorities

We answer only valid legal requests, and only with the data above. There is no backdoor in the app or on the server.
